01. Begin with the profile’s job

Your profile is the first trust layer.

Your profile and pinned content sit in the Content layer. They make it clear who you are, what you do, and where an interested person can go next. Conversations and conversions have a better place to begin when that foundation is clear.

1

Content

Your profile, cover, and pins show who you are and what you stand for.

2

Conversations

Useful content and a clear profile make it easier for the right person to start a real conversation.

3

Conversions

Trust and clarity give someone a truthful next step when they are ready for it.

02. Now build a clear profile

Give a new person enough to understand you quickly.

The goal is not a perfect profile. It is a clear one that reflects what is already true about you and gives the right person one honest next step.

Profile photo

Use a clear, smiling photo of your face.

A person should be able to recognise you without having to work for it.

Cover

Let your cover explain your work.

Add an existing next step or truthful credibility only when you can back it up.

Description

Include the essentials people need.

Who you help, what you help them do, relevant proof where true, one call to action, and a little personality.

Link

Use a real existing link.

Link to a real website, resource, or invitation. Do not create an imaginary next step to fill the space.

Values

Let people feel your point of view.

People trust a profile that sounds like a person, not a collection of claims.

Pin one: Who I am

Help a new person understand your work and who it is for.

Pin two: Credibility

Share proof you can genuinely substantiate.

Pin three: Values

Show what matters to you and the point of view behind your work.

03. Choose where to show up

Start with real attention, then choose one place to focus.

Ask actual clients and likely prospects where they spend time. Combine that evidence with the reach you already have, the kind of content you can sustain, and the time you can honestly give it.

The Screen Time Survey

Let the people you want to help tell you where they already pay attention. This gives you a better starting point than guessing from what is popular.

  1. Ask your best current clients and likely prospects which apps, communities, events, or people they pay attention to.
  2. Notice where you already have conversations, relationships, or a little reach.
  3. Be honest about the format, time, and energy you can keep up for ninety days.
  4. Choose one primary platform based on that evidence and make the tradeoff visible.

There is no universal best platform. Choose one primary platform for the next ninety days because it fits your evidence and your capacity, not because someone else says it worked for them.

04. Add OPP only when it helps

Show up where your people already gather.

Other People’s Platform activity can help you be seen in places that already hold the right people. It is optional, and it only works when you can verify the place is relevant and active.

Criterion one

Relevance

Do the people in this community, channel, event, or audience resemble the people you want to help?

Criterion two

Activity

Are people posting, replying, attending, or taking part right now? A quiet place cannot create useful momentum.

Find: identify verified places where your people gather.
Post: add a useful contribution or meaningful comment.
Add: connect with people who engage and keep the relationship human.

05. Begin showing up for real

Your profile is preparation, not the whole job.

Once the foundation is clear enough, publish something useful and engage where people already are. Do not let profile editing become a more comfortable substitute for being seen.

Set a light weekly rhythm.

Choose one real moment in your week for a fifteen-minute review. Look at profile clarity, the responses you received, and whether your chosen platform still fits the evidence.

  • Complete the first profile or pin action.
  • Publish or prepare one useful piece of content.
  • Show up in one verified place or have one useful conversation.
  • Review what you noticed before changing direction.

06. See what your plan contains

The AI Implementation Toolkit builds this with you.

It does not choose your platform for you or invent proof, claims, links, groups, or calls to action. It uses your answers to help you make the choices clearly and turn them into a plan you can use.
